Tired of crawling under fences and dodging cow poo, last year I decided to venture out of the farms and into the rainforest to search for Australian Bass.
Nestled just below the Illawarra escarpment we discovered a gem – a clear water, fast flowing stream that cascaded over boulders into small subtle pools.
And the best part, these pools contained Aussie Bass eager to smash a well presented surface fly or lure.
